Communications Manager

Sue's extensive marketing and communications career was mainly in software, but after relocating to the South West and switching to homecare she found a sector she was passionate about.

"I spent the first six months I was here going out and seeing what a great job the carers do, so I could really understand our business and the services we offer. I love the fact that I am dealing with real people and not products any more. I'd never want to go back to marketing software - compared to people, that’s just not as important is it?"

Sue has now been with DoCare more than six years, and has NVQ level 4 in leadership and management.

As well as handling DoCare's marketing, communications, training, recruitment and business development, Sue is the proud provider of all the office biscuits. A keen cook, she serves up a mean risotto!
